Site Description

Dropping down onto Marble Arch you will find yourself in a massive pothole with huge walls surrounding you. There are two arches on this dive site, one being more a small swim-through while the other is quite large.

The larger of the arches also splits in two giving you a choice in the direction you would like to head. The sandy bottom in the center has a depth of 14-17 meters while on top of the reef we have a depth of 11-13 meters. There are many overhanging ledges as well as a few small caves which you can explore along the wall.

This area is where you can encounter Lobsters, Durban Dancer Shrimps, Banded Boxer Shrimps and the occasional Green Turtle. Spanish Dancers and the rare Stone Fish can also be encountered on the outskirts of the reef from time to time as well as many different types of the beautiful Nudibranchs. This is also another one of those reefs that you find in the “Whale Shark Highway”, so keep checking above you during the dive for the majestic Whale Shark.
